if zombies attacked

I got Left 4 Dead this past week end and it made me think. If there was a zombie outbreak of any kind how would we fare? In the game basically the military has been completely routed and i wonder if the military would be able to stand against a horde of zombies. Obviously it wouldn't make for a good horror game if the military kicked the zombies ass but how would they do in real life. Unless there are some people in high command that are either paranoid, crazy, or just overly prepared it is doubtful that there is a contingency plan to deal with an outbreak of zombies, but the game does take place two weeks after first infection so i guess the military would have some time to think of something. Well these questions point to only one thing, WE NEED TO PREPARE FOR A ZOMBIE OUTBREAK!!! (or do we.....)

Expansions, Expansion and more expansions

Well I'm quite excited. The Fallout 3 DLC Broken Steel comes out tomorrow and while i'm excited about more new quests and some new enclave power armor I have to say that i'm most excited about the new lvl 30 cap. For someone who has played any of the past Fallout games a lvl 20 cap was just way to low.

On the note of another expansion, I got the Entrenchment expansion for Sins of a Solar Emire this past weekend and for $10 I have to say its pretty good. I do think it could have added a few more ship designs what is there is great (i just love the addition of mines). I just hope that the next expansion adds more ships. seeing as how the premis of Entrenchment was that the war between the three powers was grinding to a stalemate i would imagin that Ironclad is taking a note from WWI and will add some experamental designs to the next expansion. I also hope they will eventually explore what exactly the Visari are running from, a campaign would be awsome but I'm not sure as to how well that would work out.
